The Faculty of Engineering at Zawiya University seeks to prepare qualified scientific staff and provide outstanding engineering education to meet the needs of the labor market and provide community and research services that support sustainable development in Libya and contribute to building a knowledge economy.

First: Educational Objective

. Preparing distinguished graduates with leadership and technical skills capable of working in a team spirit and contributing to the building of a knowledge society

. Continuous training of faculty and supporting staff in order to contribute effectively to the achievement of the faculty's mission     

. Continuous development of curricula to keep pace with the needs of the local and global labor market

. Continuous communication with graduates to support them and benefit them in developing the educational process.

Second: Research objectives

. Building bridges for research cooperation between the faculty and local & international institutions

. Contribute to the development of scientific research and support researchers from academics and graduate students.

. Providing postgraduate programs to contribute to solving industry problems and community development.

Third: Community service objective

. Contributing to the various university committees that work for the development of the university and the service of the local community

. Providing technical advice to private and public institutions and conducting standard tests on various engineering facilities and systems
