This faculty seeks to encourage the science of Sharia and law, and to benefit from the outputs of educational programs in the fields of scientific research and community service

Preparing specialists in Sharia and law science, and provide them with a high level skills that qualify them to work  in public courts, the judiciary, lawyers, and other legal work                           

Preparing qualified teachers of religious education in the basic and intermediate levels of education, through curricula that show them the brightness of Islam, and also  provide them with knowledge that enables them to fight destructive phenomena in society.

Cooperation with other faculties , universities and sharing experiences to solve some issues that face economic and social development in Libya. 

Raising the efficiency of faculty teaching member staff, and all employees of the faculty, by holding  upgrading training courses from time to time.

Update the curriculums to ensure producing a distinguished graduate..

Activating the role of students in various programs and activities inside and outside the faculty.
